    About

Justin Horner holding an electric guitar in a recording studio, with audio equipment and a computer monitor in the background, illuminated by a warm light.

Justin Horner is a solo artist and collaborator. He was a founding member, main songwriter and lead guitarist of Set For The Fall, an all-original hard rock band from North Carolina.

He wrote songs for the band’s EP, From Darkness to Light, and recorded at the studio of Eric Bass from Shinedown Big Animal (formally Ocean Industries) in Charleston, SC. The follow-up album, 3 Nails, carried that work further with the album’s single, “3 Nails”, along with “Let Go”, “Falling Down”, “Fight”, “Just Like You”, and others. These songs have accumulated to a combined 3+ million streams on Spotify alone.

After 20+ years as a software engineer in the tech industry, from startups to work on VR experiences at Meta, he is now returning to the music industry as a solo artist, collaborator, and content creator.

His YouTube channel is dedicated to sharing the journey returning to the music industry, guitar/theory lessons, gear reviews, and ultimately aims to motivate you to pursue making and sharing your music.
